"As a teacher, my life has been turned on its head.  I work in Key Stage 1, in a two-form entry school in Brighton. The children are fantastic and very hard-working.

It was incredibly sad to hear the news that schools would be shut and heart-breaking to tell the class that they would not be returning the following week or for the foreseeable future. We ended the last days with super-fun activities and lots of tasks to remind them of how important they are and that their friends will still be their friends when they return.

The world can be a very daunting place for a child, especially in times like these... To them, all I say is be good, be kind, be fun."
