"I’m currently sitting on the edge of an indefinite period of unemployment; being self-employed I currently have no safety net to sustain me. I live alone and the thought of not being able to see my friends and family for an extended period of time sort of terrifies me.

But, sitting at home, noticing the acts of unbridled kindness going on around my community, I can’t help but smile to myself. I’m going to try and make the most of the time I have by learning a new skill, exercising or reading most of the mountain of books I’ve been trying to get through.

Currently I’m sitting here, watching something daft on the TV and dreaming of the day we all go rushing back to the pub.
