“The thing I love most about my job is the kids. The uncertainty of the questions you'll get in a day. Watching the penny drop in lessons. That look on their face when they feel proud. Well, recently, I’ve been a primary teacher from home.
We are lucky, we have a wonderful online platform with a live chat set up between each class and their teacher... but it isn't the same. I wonder how much we are all going to learn during this time? Hopefully the kids still learn the same amount and their education isn't negatively impacted. Hopefully we as adults learn to do what needs to be done so that NHS workers can do what they need to do. Hopefully I learn something new about myself, learn to adapt, learn to be a great teacher of a group of kids trapped behind a screen.
Time will tell.”
